Starring: Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Allisan Janney, J.K. Simmons.
Rating: PG-13
Grade: A

Juno is a whip-smart teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker. With the help of her hot best friend Leah, Juno finds her unborn child a "perfect" set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa, longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs.

I saw this movie last night with my sister and my nieces and we laughed from the beginning of the movie (with Dwight, HA!) to the end with bouts of tears in between as well. I, personally didn't cry which surprises me since I'm the family sap but I was touched in some scenes of this movie. I really enjoyed the movie. It was one of those movies that made you smile, giggle and then laugh out loud because the lines, the lines in this movie were a laugh a minute.

Juno is hilarious all on her own but her dad cracked me up, when Juno finally told her parents that she was pregnant and she tells them who the father of the baby is and the Dad is all surprised and the best friend laughs and is like, "I know, right?" and then when the Dad tells the Step Mom after Juno and the best friend go upstairs, when he says, "The next time I see that Pauly Bleeker, I'm gonna punch him in the weiner." HA! Oh goodness, this movie was good. I loved Bleeker's gold shorts, I laughed when Juno tells us that they don't wear underwear underneath those gold shorts and then it zooms in on their junk and you can see it swinging back and forth...LOL, too funny!

I liked Jennifer Garner's character in this movie, you could tell just how much she wanted a baby and you could tell that she was ready and that Jason Bateman wasn't...I didn't know that he didn't want to be married either, but dude...there was a part of the movie when I was like, "Wait a minute...what's going on here?" but I got over that part especially since everything ended well.

Juno totally made this movie enjoyable but the other characters added to the good stuff in this movie, it was truly a really cute and funny movie, one that I totally recommend to all of you guys who are looking for something funny to watch. That song that they sing at the end, I was crackin the heck up when Juno sings, "Here's the Church, there's the steeple, we're pretty cute for two ugly people!" Oh goodness, it was too funny...and don't even get me started on her hamburger phone! hahahaha.

Juno is the movie to watch, it's too cute! Go forth and watch it now!

How funny, I watched this one yesterday too! I thought Juno was a crack up...her humor was something else. And seeing Jennifer Garner absolutely crave for a family of her own was very touching. I think they both played their characters well.

Ok, i need to see this movie.

*sigh* I'm jealous that your review makes Izzie need to see this movie. LOL

Great review Ro!!! I laughed so hard at Dwight at the beginning. That's one etch a sketch that can't be undid, home skillet. LMAO!!!

I didn't cry either.

And the PORK SWORDS? hehe Got a good laugh at that. Really, the whole thing made me laugh. :P

Grace,

Were you crackin' up at the end when they were singing their song? And the the closing credits song, the I Am a Vampire song, ??? Man, I was crackin' up the entire movie...and how cool were her parents? When Brenda set homegirl at the hospital in her place and Juno was like, "Dang Bren, you's a dick, I love it!" I was rollin'...

Okay, so me and Chloe have been arguing about this...did you guys think that anything was developing between Jason Bateman and Juno? I don't think so...not on Juno's part anyway but Chloe thinks that she was part of the reason Jason did what he did..what do you think?

I think Jason started to develop feelings for her, but she called him old, remember? So there was nothing on her end.

Izzy,

Seriously...you got to for real!

Ames,

When you're good, you're good..haha, j/k. And you know what, I was trying to remember what she said about their junk..but that's it, she called them pork swords, oh gosh I was frickin' laughing so hard. The whole movie was funny...most especially Juno. I didn't expect to be touched throughout the movie either though so that was a good surprise.

I was touched, but not to the point of crying. And yeah, I know I'm good. LOL
I just loved Dwight at the beginning. haha

Ellen Page was on Saturday Night Live this past weekend and she was good. I loved her Peter Pan. hehe

Dude, I was cracking up when he was telling her about herself, haha...he's so the bomb!

I don't think Juno thought of him that way, especially after she called him "old"..Oh and I think he realised it at that point too. However, on his part? I think he started to develop some type of feeling towards her, but I don't think she was part of the reason he left Vanessa. I think he was just not ready to be a father, in general.

I still haven't seen this movie ~ The more I hear about it, though, the more I want to go.

i assumed Juno was directed by the same guy that directed Knocked Up, because it's about unexpected pregnancy and Michael Cera stars as Juno's boyfriend (he was in Superbad, a close relative of Knocked Up).
