The Dark Knight

With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.

I don't even know where to begin.

First of all, I LOVED the original Batman. I saw it in the theater with my parents when it first came out. I loved The Joker. I don't know why, but I just did. It was the movie that me watch the cheesy and corny tv series with Adam West. It was Jack Nicholson's Joker that me love the joker. So when i saw Batman Begins and saw the joker card at the end, I thought, "oh hell ya! THE JOKER!" Seriously, how can you have a Batman movie without the joker? So Saturday, I dragged hubby to watch this movie with me. He owed me for making me watch Hell Boy 2.

Wow. That's all I can really saw about the movie. Wow.

Christian Bale as Bruce/Batman- I think he makes an awesome batman. The only thing that annoys me is his gravely hoarse voice he uses when he's batman. I know he has to have a sore throat at the end of day when filming as Batman. Other than that, i have no problems with him. He was looking pretty damn hot too. When he's in his suit walking around as Bruce Wayne. Yummy!!!!

Heath Ledger as the Joker- There is no way you can compare his joker to Jack Nicholson's Joker. You can't. Heath's Joker was completely different from Jack's Joker. Jack's Joker was more comic book. More of a prankster. Heath's Joker was just... dark, creepy, frightening. There was a scene where Joker was sitting in the jail cell and it was frightening. The look on his face. And he was funny in a dark twisted way. Another scene, has the Joker just kind of strolling out of the hospital in a nurse's outfit, like la la la. He's playing with a detonator and all of a sudden it goes off and the Joker takes off running. His laugh, oh my, I loved his laugh. Loved it. He did an awesome job portraying the joker. Very well done.

Harvey Dent/Two Face- When I first saw his face (as Two Face), i was thinking, "Eww." He reminded me of a terminator. It was nothing like Tommy Lee Jone's Two Face. It felt/looked more real. I really felt bad for him and his story line reminded me a lot of the comic book, The Killing Joke. About how just one bad day can make any man insane. He wasn't really a villain. Just someone who lost everything and wanted revenge.

The plot/story was good. I was shocked with the killing of certain people. Wasn't expecting that. I was also surprised Two Face was featured. I thought he would be the villain for the next movie. Since he's not, I wonder who is. Hmmmm, I wouldn't mind seeing Catwoman or the Riddler.

All in all, The Dark Knight, is a very good movie. Wow and awesome are the first words that come to mind when I think of this movie. Go forth and watch it!
