Movie Review: Obsessed

Posted by: ~ames~ in , ,

Ok, here's the movie summary from Yahoo Movies:

Derek Charles, a successful asset manager who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage to the beautiful Beth. But when Lisa, a temp worker, starts stalking Derek, everything he's worked so hard for, are placed in jeopardy.

LMAO! That review is sooo wrong. First, Beyonce's character is named Sharon, not Beth. And Derek (the yummy Idris Elba) is the vice president of some company, there's no new promotion he's worried about.

Not that that makes any difference to the movie. So Derek Charles comes to work one day and there's a new temp...and she eventually makes her way to his desk, temping when his assistant gets sick. Sharon, Derek's wife, is a bit upset about this new temp - because they have a rule that her husband isn't to have any female assistants. Why? Oh I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that Sharon was an assistant before she scooped Derek up. So the girl knows what's going on. LOL The temp eventually goes psycho and thinks her and Derek are having a relationship when actually he rebuffs her at every turn. No one believes him though, even when people start getting hurt...

All right, I left a little cliffhanger there although anyone with two brain cells to rub together can figure out how the movie ends.

For some good cheesy fun, I can tell you to go check this movie out. Otherwise, wait for the DVD. It's not that it was bad, this movie was just OK.

The House Bunny

Posted by: Isabel in , ,

Shelley Darlington has lived at the Playboy mansion for the last nine years. She is Hef's favorite and acts like a den mother to the other girls. On her birthday, she is unceremoniously evicted from Hef's pad for 'being too old.' Homeless and without essential skills, Shelley wanders around L.A. until she finds a new job--the housemother at the most unpopular sorority on campus.

It reminded me a lot of Sydney White. How they both move in with the misfits. They help turn the boys/girls around and try to save the house. But Sydney White was cuter I think.

This one was a meh for me.

A group of self-absorbed actors set out to make the most expensive war film. But after ballooning costs force the studio to cancel the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they encounter real bad guys.

The was all right. I thought it would be much funnier. It seems the best/funniest parts were the ones with Tom Cruise. The rest of it... meh.

Here is a scene with Tom Cruise Dancing as the credits roll.

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull

Posted by: Isabel in , ,

In 1957, Indiana Jones is thrust back in action, venturing into the jungles of South America in a race against Soviet agents to find the mystical Crystal Skull.

It was all right. I love the Last Crusade and this just didn't measure up to that movie for me.

The whole crystal skull and where it came from, I thought was interesting. I've heard that before regarding the mayans and other tribes. I know that bothered some people but it didn't bother me. People were saying that that plot didn't belong in an Indiana Jones movie.

So this one is all right. Kind of glad I didn't watch this in the theater.

Movie Review: The List.

Posted by: Rowena in , , , ,

Starring: Malcolm McDowell, Hilarie Burton, Will Patton, Pat Hingle, Mary Beth Piel, etc.
Rating: PG, for thematic elements including some peril and brief incidental smoking.
Grade: C

After the battle of Gettysburg, a small group of South Carolina plantation owners realize that the fall of the Confederacy is inevitable. Coming together on a stormy night at the Rice Planter's Inn in Georgetown, S.C., they formulate a desperate plan to smuggle gold and silver to safe havens in Europe. Out of this meeting is born a secret society known as The Covenant List of South Carolina, Ltd. A hundred and fifty years later, Renny Jacobson, a young Charlotte lawyer, learns that his father has suddenly died. Returning home to Charleston, Renny is shocked to discover that his father bequeathed his significant estate to charity, only leaving Renny an interest in an unknown, obscure entity--The List. Along with a beautiful young woman named Jo Johnston, Renny is caught in a web of intrigue, deception, greed and spiritual warfare that reaches from the steamy coasts of South Carolina to the secret vaults of Swiss banks.

I wanted to see this movie because Hilarie Burton was in it. I'm a big HB fan because of her character on One Tree Hill so I wanted to support her and buy this dang movie but man, I didn't really care for this movie. I didn't think it was the worst movie out but it wasn't the best movie either.

This is one of those secret society movies, a secret society that's been up and running since the Civil War when the rich guys from the south were trying to stay rich and they were hording their money or whatever, it was supposed to be kept a secret and the secret was passed down from son to son since the beginning of the union thing, well it was until Jo's father died before he could have a son, leaving only Jo, his daughter living to hold down the fort.

I really enjoyed Hilarie Burton's character in this movie. She was so down to earth and she just had a great personality. I loved how her character changed Renny's character from the beginning of the movie to the end of the movie. She brought out the best in him and I was glad for it because when he was being dumb and it was all about money for him, I was like, ehhh get over it!

Overall, this movie was just okay...I thought it could have been a lot better than it actually was but it wasn't the worst ever. I enjoyed the love story that grew between Renny and Jo and I enjoyed Renny's land lady and his maid servant lady, they were so cutie patootie and warm. I didn't care for the paranormal effect they had going on over there but blah about that.

Would I recommend this? I wouldn't recommend to buy it, rent it first and if you enjoy it more than I did, then you can buy it but I'd give this one a test drive before shucking out the $18 for this movie.

Movie Review: The Marine.

Posted by: Rowena in , , ,

Starring: John Cena,
Rating: PG-13, for intense sequences of violence, sensuality and language.
Grade: C

John Triton is a heroic Marine who returns home after being discharged--against his will--from the Iraq War. Stateside, he finds himself back in action, when his wife is kidnapped by a murderous gang led by a merciless criminal named Rome. With everything on the line, the Marine will stop at nothing to carry out his toughest and most important mission.

My friend Mulu is a big John Cena fan and she wanted to see this movie, only we never got around to watching this movie in the theater so when this became available on demand, I sat down to watch this movie with my kids.

Chase loved this movie, he loved all of the action and all of the fighting. He thought John Cena was AHmazing and wants to be just like him when he grows up.

Me, on the other hand wasn't that impressed with this movie. It wasn't all that to me. I mean, JC goes to war on his own against all these big time criminals and he comes out on top of course but the storyline was flat, the acting was all that and it was just blah to me.

Would I recommend this movie to others? Not really...I've seen better movies than this one, that's for sure.

Evening

Overcome by the power of memory, Ann Lord reveals a long-held secret to her concerned daughters; Constance, a content wife and mother, and Nina, a restless single woman. Both are bedside when Ann calls out for the man she loved more than any other. But who is this Harris, wonder her daughters, and what is he to our mother?

While Constance and Nina try to take stock of Anne's life and their own lives, their mother is tended to by a night nurse as she journeys in her mind back to a summer weekend some fifty years ago, when she was Ann Grant, a young woman who has come from New York City to be maid of honor at the high-society Newport wedding of her dearest friend from college, Lila Wittenborn.

The bride-to-be is jittery, and turns to her maid-of-honor, rather than her own mother, for support. Ann stays close to her friend, yet is even closer to Lila's irrepressible brother Buddy. Unexpected feelings surge forth once Ann meets wedding guest Harris Arden, a lifelong friend and intimate of the Wittenborn family. Ann's love for Harris will change her life, and those of her daughters, forever.

This movie jumps back and forth with flashbacks and present time. I didn't care for the present time story line. I was more into the flashbacks. I only watched the present time stuff to see if there were any clues to what ended up happening.

When Anne was younger, she visits her best friend Lila. She is to be the maid of honor in Lila's wedding. Lila's brother Buddy tells Anne there is still time to stop the wedding. He reveals how Lila has been in the love with Harris, the house keeper's son, since she was 15.

After what I think is the rehearsal dinner, Anne takes Buddy out for some fresh air. He's really really drunk. In fact, he's drunk all weekend. Harris comes out to help Anne. After Harris puts Buddy to sleep he joins Anne on a walk. During their walk, Anne reveals that Buddy had picked out a star for her, among other things. Harris asks if Buddy loves her. She says no. It was just something so when she saw those things she would think of Buddy. So Harris picks out a star to remind her of the man she kissed at her best friend's wedding. They kiss.

The next morning, Anne asks Lila if she really wants to go through with the wedding. Lila says yes. Turns out Lila told Harris she loved him and she would run away with him. But Harris did not return the feelings. So on with the wedding. At the reception, Anne gets up on stage to sing a song for Lila. Half way through the song, Harris joins her up on stage.

After the reception, Buddy tries to kiss Anne. Harris stops Buddy but then Buddy kisses Harris. When he realizes what he's done, he runs inside. Anne finds him and Buddy says he had a crush on Harris but isn't that way. He then pulls out a note Anne had wrote him a few years ago. He suggests they should get married and that Anne is his true love. Anne turns him down saying it wouldn't work.

Afterwards, Buddy joins the rest of the bridal party who are jumping off a cliff into the water below. Anne and Harris join just as Buddy jumps. After giving the crowd a scare by not surfacing, Buddy appears. Anne slaps him and tells him to be a man. She storms off. Harris joins her and she tells him to take her away from everyone.

Harris brings her to this little cottage where they do the wild thing. Not knowing as Buddy was following them, got hit by a car. The next morning, Anne and Harris arrive at the house learning Buddy died.

The movie then flashes forward to Anne running into Harris in the street. He's hailing a cab for him, his wife and son. Anne tells him she has a daughter and married the best man from Lila's wedding. Harris reveals he still knows which star is theirs. They part ways.

I had the same question older Anne had when she asked Lila, "Shouldn't one of us married Harris?" YES!! YES ANNE! YOU SHOULD HAVE! What happened that you two split up? You should have married Harris. Sigh.

Anyways, I enjoyed the flashback parts of the movie. I thought Patrick Wilson (aka Raoul from Phantom) looked yummy. If you have time to rent this go ahead. Or wait for on demand.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Posted by: ~ames~ in , , ,

Summary courtesy of Yahoo! Movies:

Explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex, wife Evelyn and her brother, Jonathan. And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service. Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have laid forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents. As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force... unless the O'Connells can stop him first.

So this third (and hopefully final) installment of the Mummy features a mummy, a grown up son, father/son issues and Maria Bello with an annoying voice and accent.

Oh yes, can't forget the Yeti. The abominable snowmen. Yep, they make an appearance too!

This movie wasn't BAD, it was just OK. I'm a big fan of the first mummy, with Evie making witty remarks and Rick oh so in love with her. But this time, there was too much angst. Evie (Marie Bello, not Rachel Weisz) and Rick are retired and bored. Their son is away at school (they think) and quickly jump on the chance to return an important artifact to China. To escape from their humdrum life. There they realize their boy is not tucked safely away at school but waking up a horrible horrible mummy.

I don't understand the need for the father/son angst...or Alex's love story. I think the movie would have been fine without it. Of course, it would have been shorter too.

I really like when Jet Li was turning terra cotta and he was throwing it up. The visual on that was quite funny. :P

Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Posted by: ~ames~ in , ,

All right, I finally got around to watching this. I knew it wasn't going to be as funny as the first, but I still got some good chuckles out of it. Especially NPH. There's even a menage a trois scene with our good friend, the Bag of Weed. LOL

So H&K picks up RIGHT AFTER the events of White Castle. Harold and Kumar are going to Amsterdam to see Harold's lady love, Marie, but Kumar f**ks everything up by bringing a smokeless bong onto the plane and everyone thinks it's a bomb. Right from the get-go, the government official in charge of the investigation is a dumb ass who is full of himself and doesn't even want to listen to the way things really went down. So the boys are off to G-bay where all they have to eat are cockmeat sandwiches. I kid you not people, this is what's going on.
So the real terrorists in the next cell manage to escape (sorta) and H & K escape as well. They hitch a ride with some Cubans heading to America's shores and make their way to Texas, where a friend of Harold's who is close to the President can help them out of this sticky situation.

That NPH cracks me right up. He's seeing unicorns and visiting whore houses. What a guy!

Hellboy II

Posted by: ~ames~ in , , ,

Ok, Izzy and I decided to team up to discuss Hellboy 2, which we both watched on Saturday. There are spoilers.

**

Ames: I wanted to see this one because it was directed by the same guy who did Pan's Labyrinth. I knew it would be awesome in the visual sense.

Izzy: I was forced to watch this. LOL. I didn't care for the first Hell Boy but Joey really liked it. So when this one came out we made a trade. Hell boy 2 for Dark Knight. I think I was screwed. LOL.

Ames: LOL Ok, why were you screwed?

I saw the first one only once when it first came out, so I didn't really care to see it for the movie itself, more for the director. I'm strange that way I guess.

Izzy: Cause I didn't care for the movie at all. I was like... ok.

It did look cool though. The special effects and all that.

Ames: Yeah, the special effects and the graphics were just awesome. I like how the director didn't rely too much on computer effects. Like the fantastical creatures looked real. Not cheesy.

The storyline was just ok for me though. Hey, did you notice the lack of any kind of spark between Red and Liz? She just kept kissing him on his forehead. I was like, how the hell did she end up with a bun in the oven that way? LOL

Izzy: Yeah, I wasn't buying Red and Liz being a couple. They had more chemistry in the first movie. And the other thing... How in the heck did she get preggers? I mean, he's kind of... big so I'm thinking... ow.... lol.

I thought Abe and the princess had more sparks flying.

And LOL! I thought the scene with Red and Abe getting drunk was funny. lol

Ames: Oh yeah! I had a good laugh over that scene.

I felt bad for Abe though, over what the princess does at the end. She had some freaky eyes!! And her brother reminded me of Tom Cruise. Ugh. LOL

Well isn't Liz human? And Hellboy is a demon...so that's kind of some freaky-deaky demon love going on there. haha

Izzy: The princess reminded me of the creatures (weren't they elves too?) in the movie the dark crystal. But yeah she had some freaky eyes. Kind of jacked up they killed her (poor abe) but there was no way they could kill the prince with her staying alive without it being all cheesy and like a cop out. You know.

Yeah, just a little freaky demon/human love right there. But whatever floats your boat.

Ames: It's not my boat! LOL

I understand about the princess dying. But it was a cute storyline for Abe. LOL @ his big ol'contacts too!!

Izzy: I know. LOL! He was so cute falling in love with her.

Oh how about when Red was getting all upset when the troll was going to eat the kitty. ha ha. I mean it wasn't funny how she was going to eat it but I just liked how he's like, "SHE'S GOING TO EAT IT!" lol.

Ames: Yeah that was cute too. And then I had a good laugh when the troll described how the canary was going to eat her.

It had its little moments and it wasn't horrible. It was ok. But visually, it was great.

Izzy: Yeah, visually it looked good. And it had it's moment but for the most part I was just meh.

Ames: Ooh, I also liked the little troll guy with no legs. He really liked his shiny stuff. :P

Izzy: Oh i know. lol. SHINY!!!!

Ames: Hey, did you see Pan's Labyrinth?

Izzy: No, haven't seen that one yet.

Ames: Ahh.

But aren't the creatures so awesome? I really liked the tooth fairies.

Izzy: They were kind of cute but they were just gross at the same time. lol. the plant guy was cool too. And eewww the tumor! lol

Ames: OMG, yes the tumor. 'I'm not a baby, I'm a tumor.' haha

That Krauss dude was interesting...funny how no one listened to him though. I liked when Red smashed his helmet.

Izzy: Oh i know. ha ha. I liked Krauss. ha ha. Red looked all scared when the.. smoke/gas started to leak.

Ames: Yeah.

Ugh, Ok, the actor that plays Red, Ron Perlman, is an old guy almost (late 50s I believe), so Hellboy totally had an old man body. DO you know what I mean? Like his arms were kinda skinny like an old man's. LOL

Izzy: I noticed his body was kind of skinny compared to his head. But.. i thought it was just me.

Ames: Nope, that's old man body. LOL

Izzy: I see. Ewwww

**
So as you can see, we both enjoyed the creatures but the story was a bit lacking. Here’s what Izzy said in another email after she had first seen the movie:

The first part reminded me of Lord of the Rings. The troll market and how they got in, reminded me of Diagon Alley (Harry Potter) and when he killed the plant monster thing and the flowers start blooming and falling, reminded me of Edward Scissors Hands. I expected Selma Blair to start dancing. lol.

I did too, Izzy. LOL

Stop-Loss

Posted by: Isabel in , ,

Decorated Iraq war hero Sgt. Brandon King makes a celebrated return to his small Texas hometown following his tour of duty. Brandon tries to resume the life he left behind with the help and support of his family and his best friend, Steve Shriver, who served with him in Iraq. Alongside their war-time buddies, Brandon and Steve try to make peace with civilian life. Then, against Brandon's will, the Army orders him back to duty in Iraq. This upends Brandon's entire world. The conflict into which he is thrown tests everything he believes in: the bond of family, the loyalty of friendship, the limits of love, and the value of honor.

I admit, I totally watched this just for Ryan Phillippe and Channing Tatum.

Basically Ryan and Channing come home from Iraq. Ryan is ready to return to normal life. Except he finds out he has to head back out to Iraq. He's been stop lossed. He panics and goes awol trying to talk to a senator about the situation. So Channing's girlfriend offers to take him because she doesn't want it to happen to him. And they wouldn't suspect her helping him.

Except Ryan finds out the senator won't help him. So he either has to return or head for the border and never come back.

The movie was ok. Decent plot. Nothing you should run out and see. Although there is a scene with Channing in his undies. Which upped my grade from C to B.

Defending Your Life

Posted by: Isabel in , ,

Defending Your Life is a 1991 romantic comedy/fantasy film about a man who must justify his life-long lack of assertiveness after he dies and arrives in the afterlife.

There isn't a plot summary on yahoo. Basically, when you die, you are taken to Judgment City. There were spend a couple of days before a judge. They will decided if you have faced your fears and if you are ready to move on. If not, you will have to go back to Earth.

Daniel is staying at the Continental Hotel. Your basic Holiday Inn. His trial will last 9 days. During his trial it shows he never faced his fears. He made bad and stupid decisions. He also never really stuck up for himself.

While in Judgement City he meets Julia. We learn Julia's trial is only 4 days and she's staying the Majestic. A really nice fancy hotel. She even has a jacuzzi in her bathroom. She's lead a life of courage. In her past life she was Prince Valiant. (You can go to the Past Lives Pavilions and see who were in the past. This one old lady screams when she sees she was a sumo wrestler)

I recorded this movie on the DVR and finally got a chance to watch it. Daniel kind of got on my nerves at times. Otherwise good movie.

The Other Boleyn Girl

Posted by: ~ames~ in , , , ,

Starring: Eric Bana, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Kirsten Scott Thomas

Running Time: 1 hour and 55 minutes

Movie Description from Yahoo! Movies:

Two sisters, Anne and Mary Boleyn, are driven by their ambitious Father and Uncle to advance the family's power and status by courting the affections of the King of England. Leaving behind the simplicity of country life, the girls are thrust into the dangerous and thrilling world of court life--and what began as a bid to help their family develops into a ruthless rivalry between Anne and Mary for the love of the King. Initially, Mary wins King Henry's favor and becomes his mistress, bearing him two illegitimate children. But Anne, clever, conniving and fearless, edges aside both her sister and Henry's wife, Queen Katherine of Aragon, in her relentless pursuit of the King. Despite Mary's genuine feelings for Henry, her sister Anne has her sights set on the ultimate prize; Anne will not stop until she is Queen of England. As the Boleyn girls battle for the love of a King--one driven by ambition, the other by true affection--England is torn apart.

Movies based on books very rarely match or outshine the original format. There are a few exceptions (Lord of the Rings for example) but I'm sorry to say, The Other Boleyn Girl, starring my man, the Eric Bana, does not fit in the exceptional category. tsk tsk

Based on the novel of the same name by Philippa Gregory, tOBG was a big let down. I'm still glad I saw it though - I'm that big a fan of EB. But having just finished the book-the way this movie should have been was fresh in my mind.

First of all, the movie was choppy. The book covers 15 years of Mary Boleyn's life, and this is not conductive to a 2 hour long movie. A mini-series, a la Tudors, would have been more preferrable. (Especially with EB in it - LOL) So compounding the choppiness of the movie was the big chunks of missing information. And there was no sense of closeness between Mary, Anne and their brother, George.

I'm going to give the Other Boleyn Girl a C-. Read the book instead.

Movie Review: Jumper

Posted by: Rowena in , , , ,

Starring: Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Bell.
Rating: PG-13
Grade: C

A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them.

This is another movie that I saw while Grace was here in L.A. with me. We wanted to see this movie and Step Up II and we got to see both...we both loved Step Up II: The Streets but when it came to this movie, we were confused as to if we liked it or not. Grace thought that it started off pretty slow and I thought the ending sucked, but the movie as a whole wasn't ...bad, per se, just ...it could have been better. The storyline was good, it had the potential of being something really great but it kind of let us down.

One thing that didn't let us down was how good Hayden looked in this movie. That boy is fine. I never paid much attention to him as I'm not a big Star Wars fan and I haven't seen any of his other movies but this movie sure did make me sit up and take notice.

Hayden Christensen is HAWT!

Rachel Bilson is a cutie in this movie, they look good together and though they will never be a Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson kind of couple to me (all cutesy and crap) I thought they did well together in this movie.

Hayden kind of irritated me with all of his breaking and entering crap, the way he thought he was invincible got on my hot damn nerves and when Samuel L. Jackson came after him time and time again, scaring the crap out of him...I couldn't help but think, THATS WHAT YOU GET!

I liked that Rachel and Hayden ended up together at the end but with Hayden's Mom and everything, I kept thinking, THATS IT, THATS FRICKIN IT!!!! It pissed me off but whatever, the movie isn't something that I'd pay to see again but I'm not neccessarily mad that I paid $10.50 to see ...it's no 27 Dresses though, that's for sure.

The British, Scottish, Irish guy that's in this movie, the other Jumper was a laugh a minute. I loved that guy and I was pissed for him when Hayden done ruined a lot of his crap, when he led Sam and all of his bad guys over to his lair, I was pissed off for Griffin!

But as a whole, this movie was just meh...don't rush out to the theaters to watch this but catch it on DVD or netflix it and you'll see what I mean.

Meh.

The Jane Austen Book Club

Posted by: Isabel in ,

In modern-day California, six women in a book club find their lives and romances reflected in the six novels of English author Jane Austen.

I thought this movie was ok. It was good but.. I don't know. Didn't really do much for me.

6 people form a book club to discuss each of Jane Austen's books. One person hosts one book. Some how, the works of Jane Austen are present in the lives. Like one gal keeps trying to set up Grigg, the only male member in the book club, with her friend. Only she realizes she's attracted to him. That's Emma right there.

I've never read any of Austen's work. I know, shocking. Actually, I think I read Emma back in high school. But I've watched Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensebility, Clueless and Emma. So that counts for something right?

Anyways, this movie was all right. There are some cute parts but it just didn't really do anything for me. Also it hints it is set in Sacramento. I didn't recongize any of the places they were at. Lol. Maybe someone who read the books would enjoy it.

Grade: It's all right. C+.

Ok, this movie had some funny parts. It also had some ewwwww.... please fast forward parts. There are parts of this movie that are soft porn. Which my husband enjoyed.

So.. yeah this movie was ok. Nothing great.

It's worthing catching on cable.

Grade: C.

This movie wasn't great, so I'm doing a half-assed review. LOL

The beginning was funny...then it turns into a porno for 5 minutes, then Dane Cook goes crazy (really bonkers) and the movie never recovers after that.

Don't get me wrong, it definitely had its funny moments, but it really lagged at the end. And all the funny stuff was in the previews anyway, so there's nothing new.

The funniest thing happened during my watching of this movie. She-Ra was playing with the cat on my lap, and the cat lunged at her and scared her, and she jumped backwards - off the couch and onto the floor. LMAO!! Poor thing, her eyes went soo big when she realized there was nothing to stop her fall. Good thing she fell off the foot part of the recliner couch and that it wasn't reclined all the way. Still, it was funny.
