OMG, you guys!!!!!!

There's a good chance that Luke "Dylan McKay" Perry will appear on 90210 (2.0).

So, push aside those reports (for now) that Perry won't be coming back!

(2.0) insiders have revealed that Jennie Garth's character, Kelly Taylor, will have a 4-year old son in the spinoff.

And the dad is none other than Dylan!

In true Dylan style, he's disappeared for awhile but will probs come back in a late season one show to try to win a place back in his son's and Kelly's life.

What do y'all think?

We loves it!

Street Kings looks promising. Look at the cast!
I'm really interested in Miss Pettigrew. I saw a trailer and thought it looked cute. Plus I think Frances McDormand is one hell of a talented actor.
Meh. Probably won't get this one. LOL

SYTYCD finale

So this was the best part of the finale:

I wanted someone else to win, other than the one who did. But still, congrats to the winner.

Also, I seriously want to head back to Vegas and check out Believe. It's going to be AWESOME!!

The Worst Witch

Mildred Hubble (Fairuza Balk) is the flunk-out of the Witch's Academy--that is until she gets her big chance to show everyone just how much magic she can make! The school's headmistress Agatha (Charlotte Rae) has an evil twin, who is plotting to cause havoc just before the big Halloween celebration and visit by the Grand Wizard (Tim Curry). Can Mildred find a way to stop this plot before it ruins the party? This family fantasy features a stellar cast, including Diana Rigg and Tim Curry, as well as plenty of enchanting action.

My sister and I used to watch this movie every year when it came on HBO around Halloween time. I saw it on netflix and had to watch it.

Oh my. The story is cute. It's about Mildred who no matter how hard she tries, she can't get her spells right. She's a little clumsy and well she's the worst witch in the school. Instead of having a black kitten, she gets the white and grey kitten.

Then there is perfect Ethel who loves to pick on poor Mildred. When Mildred makes broom squad (kind of like cheer leading), Ethel puts a spell on her broom so Mildred messes up. Right in front the Grand Wizard.

Again, the story is cute. The special effects, horrible. The music is that cheesy 80's music. I was like.. wow. That is just bad. Lol. Like the flying scene, you know it's in front of a blue screen. Not like Harry Potter.

Anyways, it was a nice trip down memory lane.

Holee crapamolee!! There are no good movies coming out lately. WTF is going?

I think it's time to start breaking out some favourites and rewatching them. Because the next two weeks after this one don't look promising either. :(

Army Wives

Posted by: Isabel in , ,

The picture is from last week's episode. They haven't posted the new ones yet. Ok, I've been watching Army wives and so far nothing has happened that has made me want to review it. Until now.

What the hell is Denise's problem? Seriously. I want to slap the girl upside the head. Is this her midlife the crisis? The bike, the doctor? She was one of my favorite characters but no more.

I like Frank. I love Frank. I think he's a great alpha hero. And to know he's going to witness Denise kissing doctor guy's hand... Poor Frank. What is Frank gonna do? What is he gonna say?

Although I am glad doctor guy didn't leave. Because I don't want Denise all, "What might have been." That's not fair to any of them. I would like to see how this will be resolved. But I hate Denise. Hate her. She needs to make a grand gesture to have me forgive her.

The other thing: Roland and Joan. Nothing better happen to that baby. I really want to see Roland and Joan be happy with their baby girl.

Those are my main issues with the show right now. I think that guy CJ's daughter has a crush on has something to do with the drug problem.

Anyway those are my thoughts about last night's episode.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Posted by: ~ames~ in , , ,

Summary courtesy of Yahoo! Movies:

Explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex, wife Evelyn and her brother, Jonathan. And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service. Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have laid forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents. As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force... unless the O'Connells can stop him first.

So this third (and hopefully final) installment of the Mummy features a mummy, a grown up son, father/son issues and Maria Bello with an annoying voice and accent.

Oh yes, can't forget the Yeti. The abominable snowmen. Yep, they make an appearance too!

This movie wasn't BAD, it was just OK. I'm a big fan of the first mummy, with Evie making witty remarks and Rick oh so in love with her. But this time, there was too much angst. Evie (Marie Bello, not Rachel Weisz) and Rick are retired and bored. Their son is away at school (they think) and quickly jump on the chance to return an important artifact to China. To escape from their humdrum life. There they realize their boy is not tucked safely away at school but waking up a horrible horrible mummy.

I don't understand the need for the father/son angst...or Alex's love story. I think the movie would have been fine without it. Of course, it would have been shorter too.

I really like when Jet Li was turning terra cotta and he was throwing it up. The visual on that was quite funny. :P

Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Posted by: ~ames~ in , ,

All right, I finally got around to watching this. I knew it wasn't going to be as funny as the first, but I still got some good chuckles out of it. Especially NPH. There's even a menage a trois scene with our good friend, the Bag of Weed. LOL

So H&K picks up RIGHT AFTER the events of White Castle. Harold and Kumar are going to Amsterdam to see Harold's lady love, Marie, but Kumar f**ks everything up by bringing a smokeless bong onto the plane and everyone thinks it's a bomb. Right from the get-go, the government official in charge of the investigation is a dumb ass who is full of himself and doesn't even want to listen to the way things really went down. So the boys are off to G-bay where all they have to eat are cockmeat sandwiches. I kid you not people, this is what's going on.
So the real terrorists in the next cell manage to escape (sorta) and H & K escape as well. They hitch a ride with some Cubans heading to America's shores and make their way to Texas, where a friend of Harold's who is close to the President can help them out of this sticky situation.

That NPH cracks me right up. He's seeing unicorns and visiting whore houses. What a guy!

C+

Come Early Morning

Posted by: Isabel in , ,

Lucy is a 30-something woman who keeps waking up with a stiff hangover and a guy she doesn't even want to look at. If coming to grips with why she keeps repeating this pattern isn't enough, Lucy also begins to realize that she needs to get in touch with her familial past and, more importantly, with the person she has become.

I saw this movie was being shown on lifetime and I realized I had it my netflix queue so I bumped it up.

Yeah.... Wish I would've just DVR'd it. Or maybe wait until on demand.

Ashley Judd plays this woman who goes to the bar, gets drunk and has one night stands. She meets Cal and realizes he's not like other guys. He's a nice guy. Who wants to be more than a one night stand.

The movie was all right. When it ended, it just ended. I thought there would be more. I felt like it just left you hanging. I didn't care for Ashley Judd's character.

This movie is a wait for on demand.
