I am a really big Maroon 5 fan, I seriously love that band. One of the highlights of my entire life (after having Brenna of course, haha) is meeting Maroon 5 in San Diego before their concert on May 9, 2005. I used to have the biggest crush on Adam Levine and I just love, love, love his voice. There aren't many people who sound as good as Adam does live in concert. I swear, that day three years ago...Adam blew me away after he sang song after song after song and sounded just as good, if not better than on the cd. He's got that entertaining personality that just rocks my socks.
Now having said that, I'm also a country music fan and a fan of Sara Evans. Now, to me, Sara doesn't sound as good live as Adam does but that's just me saying that from hearing her perform on T.V. at the different Country Music Awards that I've watched. I haven't seen Sara in concert before but from what I've heard on T.V. She isn't one of my favorite singers to hear sing live. But I love her songs. One of my favorite country albums is her A Real Fine Place To Start. that album is really good and it was great to hear two of my favorite singers singing each other's songs together on the same stage. It was great to hear Adam's additions to Sara Evans and Sara's additions to Adam's songs.
This was a great episode of Crossroads. Sara and Adam are adorable and they're cute and funny together. Adam rocked the hell out of the stage and Sara sang beautifully which surprised me because I was ready to think she was just..okay. But she wasn't, she was great!
The episode was so good that I whipped out both my Maroon 5 albums and my Sara Evans albums and have been listening to nothing but them. So good!
My favorite performance was probably Leather and Lace or She Will Be Loved or I Could Not Ask For More, but I loved when Sara sang Some Things Never Change, great great episode!
Leather and Lace
She Will Be Loved
I Could Not Ask For More
Such a great episode!
Oh and just because I'm special like that, here's the picture of me and Maroon 5!!! haha.
